Sodium Metabisulfite (SMBS) is a widely used inorganic reducing agent and preservative with excellent antioxidant and bleaching properties. It is extensively applied in food processing, water treatment, pharmaceuticals, pulp & paper, and mining. The product is available in different grades to meet industrial and food safety requirements.
Property: white or light yellow crystalline powder or small crystal, with SO2 odor,Sg 1.4.
Use: Used in drug, food, ferment, rubber, textile, photo, flavor, dyes, tannage and preservativeof fruit and vegetable.
